SWRPC to Host NH Route 9 West Corridor Meeting on Tuesday July 12, 2022 at 6:30 pm
- June 29, 2022
The NH Route 9 West Corridor is one of eight major transportation corridors in the Southwest NH Region. This corridor principally hosts east-west regional traffic movements via NH Route 9 between Keene and Brattleboro, VT, but it’s also supported by a network of other roads in the area including but not limited to NH Route 63, NH Route 9A and NH Route 119. Other transportation assets such as the Chesterfield Gorge Natural Area Park and Ride lot in Chesterfield and the Fort Hill Branch rail trail in Hinsdale are considered part of the Corridor system as well.
Is this corridor part of your regular commute? Are you satisfied with current travel conditions or do you feel that improvements and investments are necessary to improve traveler safety, convenience or comfort? Do you wish there were additional transportation options in this area such as public? Would you like to see improved conditions for cyclists and pedestrians?
If you have questions, comments or concerns about transportation on the NH Route 9 West Corridor, please attend the Route 9 West Corridor Meeting on July 12th, 2022 at 6:30 pm, hosted by SWRPC. At the meeting, SWRPC will present information about existing conditions on the Corridor and then take feedback from meeting participants regarding transportation challenges, opportunities for improvements and project ideas. Comments and local knowledge from residents who use this Corridor are critical for understanding our Region’s transportation needs, and comments will be used to inform the update of SWRPC’s Long Range Transportation Plan, Southwest Connects.
This meeting will be held via Zoom on July 12th at 6:30 pm. To join the meeting go to:
