SWRPC Seeks Consultant for Laurel Lake Watershed Management Plan

The Southwest Region Planning Commission is seeking proposals from qualified environmental consultants for the development of an EPA nine element (a-i) Watershed Management Plan for Laurel Lake in the town of Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire. The chosen consultant will work collaboratively with SWRPC and the project work group to develop the plan, and will offer technical expertise to better understand the contamination risks facing the waterbody. Please see below the following questions and answers regarding the Laurel Lake Watershed Management RFQ:

Question 1: What firms did you send this request to?

Response: This RFQ was posted to SWRPC’s website, the New Hampshire Municipal Association’s Classified Page, and the New Hampshire Department of Administrative Services Purchase and Property page. Additionally, the RFQ was sent directly to a list of several dozen firms in the New England region.

Question 2: Are you able to say how much funding you have for this effort?

Response: At this phase of the selection process, SWRPC will identify firms based on the strength of their qualifications package. Subsequent selection steps will include the negotiation of compensation for the most qualified firms.
