Fitzwilliam Hazard Mitigation Plan Update

- Planning
The Town is undertaking an update to its 2018 Hazard Mitigation Plan. The Town has support for this project from NH Homeland Security and Emergency Management and Southwest Region Planning Commission. The purpose of the plan is to identify the natural and human-caused hazards we face (such as flooding, severe storms, or wildfire) and to identify long-term strategies to reduce future risk by keeping people and property safe. This process takes place about every five years and keeping the plan current makes the Town eligible for a variety of grant programs. As a neighboring community or an organization involved in hazard mitigation, development regulation, essential services, business, education, or non-profit work in the region, we invite you to participate in the update process.
