Fitzwilliam Hazard Mitigation Plan Update Comment Period

The Fitzwilliam Hazard Mitigation Plan serves as a means to reduce future losses from natural or man-made hazard events before they occur. By updating the plan every five years, the Town is eligible to receive grant funding for mitigation projects. The latest update was developed by a planning team of town staff with help from SWRPC and is available online (below) or at the Fitzwilliam Town Hall during regular business hours for review and public comment from Tuesday, March 17, 2026 through Wednesday, March 25, 2026.

Comments on the draft plan may be provided:
